The SDK is a paid Windows option that allows you to send display content directly from existing HR, production management, or other business systems. It is not required for standard use with the EZ Sign app, where users create and update content manually.

Important Information Before Deployment
E-Paper Displays Differ From Standard LCDs.
Because e-paper does not emit light, it provides a natural appearance similar to printed paper. As a result, its strengths differ from those of LCD screens and smartphones. We want to highlight these characteristics upfront to ensure seamless integration into your operations.

FAQ
Can I display a photo?
Yes. The 4-color model can display a photo along with a person's name, department, employee ID, QR code, and company name on a single screen. Because e-paper displays images differently from LCD screens, we recommend checking a physical sample to see how your design will look on the actual display.
How many units do I need to order? Do I need a quote?
You can order starting from just one unit. Orders of up to 100 units can be placed directly through the product page, and quantity discounts are automatically applied in your cart, so no separate quote is required. For orders over 100 units, please contact us for volume pricing based on your order quantity.
Do I have to update each badge individually when setting them up for the first time?
Yes. Each badge is updated individually. Once you create a layout, you can save it and reuse it, changing only the name, department, or other information as you update each badge. As a general guideline, updating 100 badges with the 4-color model takes approximately one hour of writing time. If you need assistance with bulk setup during initial deployment, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
What happens if a badge is lost?
The badge does not store personal information internally. Instead, the information currently displayed simply remains on the screen. Many customers keep spare badges on hand so they can update and issue a replacement whenever needed.
Can EZ Sign integrate with our HR system?
With the standard EZ Sign app, display content is created and updated manually by the user. If you want to send information directly from an existing HR system or other business software, system integration is available through our paid Windows SDK. Because integration requirements vary by system, please contact us to discuss your application.
Does EZ Sign require batteries or charging?
No. EZ Sign receives power from a smartphone or NFC reader/writer only when the display is being updated. Once updated, the display continues to show the content without a battery or continuous power supply.
Can I use EZ Sign outdoors or in dusty environments?
The 4.2-inch model is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance. However, the display surface is made of glass, so we do not recommend using it regularly in areas where it may be exposed to significant impact. If you are unsure whether EZ Sign is suitable for your environment, please contact us and describe your application.
Can I order lanyards and clips with the displays?
Yes. Lanyards, clips, and stands are available separately. Lanyards are sold in 6-packs, clips in 12-packs, and stands in 12-packs. If you are considering an order of more than 100 units, we can also include the accessories in your quotation.
