Terms of Use - EZ Sign App

 

The terms of use, governing law, and competent court for this application vary depending on the country or region where the application is used.

The terms of use applicable to the country or region of use shall apply.

1) When used in the United States: English Terms of Use

2) When used in the People's Republic of China: Chinese Terms of Use

3) When used in Japan: Japanese Terms of Use

4) When used in a country or region other than the above: English Terms of Use apply

 

Terms of Use for EZ Sign Standard Application

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the "EZ Sign Standard Application" (hereinafter referred to as the "App") provided by San Technology, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, the customer is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (License Grant) The Company grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to use the App solely for the purpose of using it in conjunction with the Company's product "EZ Sign" (hereinafter referred to as the "Product").

Article 2 (Prohibited Acts) In using the App, the customer shall not engage in any of the following acts:

1. Incorporating the App into a system, product, or service used by a third party other than the

customer themselves.

2. Using the App in combination with hardware other than the Company's Product (such as third-

party e-paper products).

3. Disclosing, selling, transferring, lending, sublicensing, or providing all or part of the App to a

third party.

4.    Analyzing, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App's programs or data.

5.    Publishing, providing, or leaking to a third party any information obtained through the acts in

the preceding item (including authentication information such as USER PIN codes and

communication specifications).

6.    Developing products that compete with the Company's products or similar software/libraries

using the App.

7.    Unauthorized alteration or falsification of the Product's internal data (such as EPD

information) using the acquired information.

Article 3 (Intellectual Property Rights) All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, patents, and trademarks, related to the App, as well as technical information incorporated within the App (communication specifications, PIN codes, etc.), belong entirely to the Company or a third party with legitimate rights.

 

Article 4 (Suspension of Use and Claim for Damages)

1.    If the customer violates any provision of these Terms, the Company may, without prior notice, revoke the license to use the App and take measures such as suspending its use.

2.    If the Company suffers damages due to the customer's violation, the Company may claim compensation for such damages from the customer.

 

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

1.       The Company makes no warranty of any kind regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness

for a particular purpose of the App.

2.       If a malfunction (e.g., inability to rewrite images) occurs due to the alteration of the Product's internal information as a result of the customer analyzing the App in violation of these Terms, the Company shall not be liable for any repair, replacement, or compensation.

 

Article 6 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in San Diego, California as the court of first instance.

 

Article 7 (Consent to and Modification of Terms)

1.       In order to use the App, the customer must personally select "Agree" to these Terms on the

screen displayed during a new installation or upon the first startup after an update. If the customer does not agree, the App cannot be used.

2.       The Company may modify these Terms by specifying the effective date when it becomes

necessary due to changes in laws and regulations, social conditions, or other circumstances.

3.       In the event of material changes to these Terms, the Company shall notify the customer of the changes upon launching the App and request consent again.
